This CD package was created for academic coursework. Better Than Ezra is a New Orleans-based band and Laurie is a Baton Rouge/New Orleans native, so she knew she wanted to convey a true New Orleanian feel in the design. The packaging plays off of the slightly dirty, aged feel of the city, while the pieces are tied together with the common visual element of ever-present Mardi Gras beads.
